  1. Black Bean Burger

    Here’s the idea:

    Take half a can of black beans and half a can of pinto beans, rinse and mash together. Mix in about 2 tablespoons of salsa. Finely chop 1/4 of a pepper and add. Add about 1/4 cup of bread crumbs to help bind.

    Cook on grill or pan about 3 minutes per side, until warm inside.

    Eat on bun with salsa as a garnish.

    two other ladies in my office suite are talking about eating healthy. it’s funny because they are like “mcdonald’s is so bad for you but i just crave it sometimes”. yuck. i don’t think i ever crave mcdonald’s or any fast food. it’s nice to eat sometimes when you are hungry and in a rush but i’d always pick my tofu, broccoli, and pasta over it any day.
